This is an impromptu post because just yesterday, after Peter dropped me off at work, he called me to tell me the story of how he saved this little kitten’s life! Peter said he was driving back home when he saw something on the road that cars were dodging. When he realized it was a kitten, he stopped in the middle of the road to block the traffic and nudged the kitten back on the sidewalk. Peter said he was going to drive off but the kitten kept walking toward the road so he decided to bring it home for me! The police even stopped to ask what he was doing or if he needed help, but then they let him continue when they saw it was only a kitten. So now I have this cute little kitten in my home! Peter bought him cat food and we’ve been showing him lots of love! This morning we took him to the beach to play around and see how he would react. He is SO small and has the most beautiful blue eyes. Unfortunately, our landlord won’t allow us to have pets. So if we can’t find a friend to give him to, we will be taking him to G.A.I.N (Guam Animals In Need). G.A.I.N is Guam’s largest animal shelter. They care for hundreds of boonie dogs and cats and find them good homes. I will be very sad to see him go and I’m not ready to give him up. He takes a lot of love and attention, but he is a very good little kitty.
